#LIMITLESS VIDEO OUT NOW I’ve been getting a lot of questions about the video… so here is what I wanted to say with it… There is a little girl or boy inside all of us who’s always there no matter how old we are and that little person is the one who’s always fighting and getting back up and helping us thru every moment. The one we need to protect but also keeps us optimistic and full of hope…The hill symbolized life itself and how when you’re born a woman from the get it’s an uphill battle it’s a struggle. At the beginning of the video I am standing there and there is a change in the weather and the lil girl in me is chasing after one of the leaves 🍁… the storm gets more intense…the girls in the RED hallway represent the women of today…a strong army of women on fire (red 👠 and tights) who are actually creating this storm!! This storm of change which eventually reaches all the way to the ocean 🌊 changing the world… they have realized their power, drawing on one another’s strength and removing a suit that doesn’t quite fit, revealing that they are stronger, more beautiful and more unstoppable together in unison and in their own skin…at the end of the video we find that what our girl was chasing all along, what she was searching for was always there inside of her. It was the realization that she and all the limitless power she could ever need is right there in her. Always was. Always will be… #limiltess #theonlythingstoppingyouisyou #SECONDACT

Allow me to reintroduce myself. My name is @Lilly. ••••••• Nine years ago I decided to make a YouTube channel and thought nothing of it. I didn’t think it would alter my life path, turn into a career and to be honest I didn’t even think I’d upload more than five videos. When prompted to choose a username I instinctively typed Superwoman because it had been my MSN messenger screen name (shoutouts millennials). Based on a song by Lil Mo and Fabulous, I used to call myself Superwoman growing up because like any kid I wanted so badly to deal with life’s obstacles like a hero. As I grew up, I held on to this belief that everyone could be their own superhero. Until this day I truly believe that we have all the tools we need to be our own saving grace. It’s been heartwarming and empowering to hear people address me as Superwoman, a name I worked so hard to live up to. But today as I type this, as the person I’ve grown into, I feel even more empowered by the name Lilly. Lilly has become an even bigger hero than Superwoman on this journey through my life. Lilly encompasses everything it took to get to where I am… and it’s a place I’m proud to be. And so at this time, it feels right to give thanks to the moniker Superwoman and to lay the cape to rest. Today my biggest and best super powers lay within Lilly and thus Lilly I shall be. Aka new handle is @Lilly. Wooop! Woop! Holla atcha girlllll 💃🏽💪🏽❤️

This is the first year I filed a business tax return for our multi member LLC. These tax returns are due 1 month earlier than your personal return on March 15. On the due date (yes I was procrastinating), I was about to complete our return when I realized I couldn’t file the return just yet because I hadn’t contributed all the money to our retirement accounts. Now the only way we could still contribute to the retirement account was to file an extension for the business return (because you have up to the due date your tax return is due to contribute to your retirement). Are you following me? But then I realized that business extension form could not be filed online but had to be mailed and postmarked that day! The post office was closing in 22 mins. It was 28 mins away. I was too pregnant for this. So Joe broke out the @canonusa MegaTank Printer, I filled out the form, sent it to his email, and he printed it out straight from his phone. Only thing left to do was to get to the Baltimore post office in heavy Friday traffic on time. He didn’t. It was closed when he got there. But with the help of my dad who met Joe downtown with stamps and an envelope, they were able to put it in one of the mail bins before the last pick up. (Shoutout at grandaddy for always being prepared!) The Canon Wireless MegaTank All-in-One Printer has 30x more than your standard ink tank, can print up to 6,000 black text pages and 7,000 color pages, and has an auto document feeder which we used to scan in all the 1099-MISC forms we received this year! #PIXMAMegaTank #CanonMegaTank #MegaTank #ad @canonusa

📑Reviewing our marriage documents to make sure it was a binding agreement to make @dantransform mine forever…and ever.🥰 As I get closer to my birthday, I’m thinking about lessons I’ve learned in my almost 32 years on this beautiful earth. The one I want to share with you today is to GIVE YOURSELF PERMISSION TO BE THE BEST VERSION OF YOURSELF. Leaving my job as an entertainment litigator was the hardest decision of my life. I kept asking myself- is it all a waste? What was the measure of my worth without being able to tell people I was a lawyer? How disappointed will my family be? Would I want to “take steps backward” and pursue something I could’ve done without going to school at all? Would I be okay financially? Would people think I was a failure or that I wasn’t cut out for it? It’s scary to walk away from something you’ve worked extremely hard for. It’s hard to say goodbye to something you thought you really wanted. It’s intimidating to know that people will talk about you behind your back or say hurtful things to your face. I let go of what didn’t matter and what didn’t serve me- which was the fear of what other people thought of me. I chose to follow my heart. I knew that I wasn’t being the best version of myself (aka my authentic self) sitting in my office behind a computer all day or in court arguing with people constantly. When I left my job to start Stir and Style, I was jumping into the unknown with my heart set on building a life where I could be the best version of myself. I feel blessed to have found that. Even though I don’t practice law anymore in the “traditional” sense, I use what I learned every single day. LITERALLY (even on my wedding day). If I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t miss a step of the life I’ve lived. If you are in a place where you are not sure which path to choose, I encourage you to choose the one that makes your heart feel light and where you can be your authentic self to share your gifts and talents with others. If I can do it, so can you. If my story can help motivate just one person to follow their happiness, then I am fulfilled! Tag someone who could benefit from this message.
