September Books

Here is the list of books I read in the month of September 2019:

The Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite (vol. 1)

The Umbrella Academy: Dallas (vol. 2) by Gerard Way & Gabriel Ba

This comic book series is about a team of super-humans. They regroup after the death of their father. There are seven of them. The Apocalypse Suite introduces the characters and Dallas gets more into the story plot. I enjoy the comics and tv show (Netflix). If you are a fan of My Chemical Romance, Gerard Way, was the front man of the band. I love to read his work, it makes me happy.

Tokyo Ghoul (vol. 1) by Sui Ishida

This is a manga series about ghouls. The main character, Ken Kaneki is half-ghoul. So far it is an interesting manga and it has some great characters. I just started the series so I can not wait to get more into the story plot.

Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns) by Mindy Kaling

This book is amazing. I enjoyed reading this, it was a delight. I laughed so much at many things in this book. Mindy is a wonderful comedian and writer. One of my favorite parts is her talking about her childhood and college years. Overall, I liked everything about this book.
