Light meals are helpful when I have nausea and a lack of appetite. Sometimes I do not feel like eating a big meal. When I do not feel like eating food or when I am nauseas I like to eat plain foods, as well as fruits and vegetables.
Every month I try to reduce the amount of junk a consume and I like to detox. Sometimes smoothies are great when I am nausea. Helps get nutrients into my body. I usually drink smoothies consisting of fruits and vegetables.
1. Green Smoothie– I like to drink this smoothie when I want more fiber.
Recipe:
1 or 2 Apples
1 cup Spinach
Can add 1 Banana
Blend with water
2. Blue Smoothie- I like to drink this smoothie because it is naturally sweet.
Recipe:
1/2 cup Blueberry
1 cup Spinach
1 Banana
1 cup Almond milk
Can add 1/2 Strawberries
3. Jasmine Rice with seaweed: This is an easy and simple meal. You can add any sauce you like, if desired.
4. Fried Rice: You can use left over cooked rice. I like to use cooked jasmine rice, 2-3 eggs, and spinach. I like my fried rice simple and non oily.
5. Egg: I usually lightly boiled or over easy.
6. Grain: Any Bread, Pancake, or Non sweet Cereal. When I am nauseas I like to eat grain. It helps manage my symptoms and it also allows me to eat something.
7. Potatoes: This is a simple meal. Potatoes are versatile. You can fry, bake, mash etc.
